Kate Moss to wear Galliano on wedding day

By Alexander Smith

Never a stranger to ruffling feathers and courting controversy, supermodel Kate Moss has elected Sexy Cocktailjurken to wear a wedding dress by legally embattled designer John Galliano. According to British Vogue, Kate will wed indie rocker Jamie Korte Trouwjurk Hince of The Kills in a gown customized by the former Dior fixture, who was suspended and then dismissed from his post and practically exiled off the fashion map earlier this year following an arrest over an alleged anti-Semitic tantrum in a Paris bar.

While embracing the scandalously disgraced designer may seem Lange Cocktailjurken like just another of Moss signature acts of rebellion, her decision probably has less to do with defiance and more to do with friendship and loyalty to the tarnished fashion icon. Moss working relationship with Galliano goes back several years. Moss once cited an imaginative exchange with the designer as her favorite fashion moment.

Members of the model wedding party including the daughter of actress Sadie Frost and the wife of Clash bassist Paul Simonon will be outfitted in gowns by British brands Erdem and Christopher Beale.

Kate's dress attracts crowds of more than 350

Just six weeks after going on display at Buckingham Palace, more than 350,000 people have lined up to see the wedding gown by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen.

People Magazine reports that at this rate by the time the exhibit and Lange Cocktailjurken tour close down on October 3 some 500,000 visitors are expected to catch a glimpse of the gown.

"The royal wedding attracted worldwide Korte Trouwjurk interest, so it's only natural that many people want to come to see the State Rooms, some of which were used for the wedding reception, and take a closer look at the Duchess of Cambridge's dress which celebrates great British design."

And, just as they did with some of their wedding gifts (they gave a Land Rover to the Mountain Rescue), part of the $28.50 adult admission price to view the dress goes to charity.

The proceeds will go to the Royal Wedding Charitable Gift fund benefiting charities chosen by the pair.

Whew, November completely just flew by and now here we are in the middle of High Low Schoolfeest Jurken the holiday season. I know I have been a little absent on my blog - I've been busily trying to finish photos so everyone would have them in time for Christmas. But over a month ago I had the privelege of photographing Lynnsey Aaron's beautiful fall wedding. When I first talked to Lynnsey she said the two things she wanted for her wedding was nice weather and for the pretty fall leaves to stick around. Well, Lynnsey got just what she asked for! Even though the evening was pretty cold she had the most beautiful day. Her and Aaron were so easy to photograph because they are so cute together. Enjoy!

You will be able to tell just how much I loved this wedding simply by the number of pictures I am including in this post. Grote Maten Trouwjurken Gorgeous, beautiful, amazing - those words only begin to describe this wedding. I attended the rehearsal/dinner on Saturday night (they were married on Sunday) and when I came home I couldn't believe that I took 800 pictures just from a few short hours. Why? Sarah has to be the most expressive person I've ever met and keeping up with those expressions results in a lot of photos. Sarah Brett were married at her Sarah's parent's home here in Knoxville. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the storytelling.

Keep Your Wedding Dress Short and Sweet

Short dresses have long been the perfect thing for a tropical or beach wedding. What bride hasn't had a daydream or two about walking down a warm, sandy aisle in a breezy little white slip dress?

But the short bridal dress is becoming more and more welcome indoors. In the past several decades, a short dress would be unthinkable in anything but a very informal - as in Vegas drive-through informal - ceremony. But this year designers have been sending such divine little numbers down the catwalk that it may be hard to resist inviting your knees to your High Low Schoolfeest Jurken wedding.

And it's hard to call many of the new short styles informal. Beautiful fabrics, lush, soft layers, and chic lines lift you up out of casual and drop you straight into Coolest Bride Ever territory. A sleek fit with tiny, elegant details will give you the high-fashion look, but a cocktail-length dress with a close-fitting bodice and a ballet skirt or flowing folds will give you a gorgeous, fun look.

You may want to try a dress with a 50's swingline look. You'll have a fun, twirly skirt for your reception, and 50's-era styles are wonderful for showing off your curves - think Mad Men. (And you might drive your groom a little mad too.) Swingline dresses work well with sweetheart, halter, or square necklines, so you can flatter your figure in every possible way.

There are plenty of good reasons for trying a wedding dress with a short skirt that go beyond mere fashion. For one thing, there's dancing. A sweeping gown lets you look lovely as you sway a tiny distance from side to side, but a knee-length dress lets you really cut a rug at your reception. On the other end of the coordination spectrum, remember that a bridal gown that's tea-length or higher dramatically reduces your chances of taking a header as you walk down the aisle.

Or you may just want your future descendents to know that Grandma was a heap of fun in her day, not to mention the owner of a pretty fine set of gams. Sometimes the little whippersnappers need to learn not to make assumptions.

Still sitting on the fence? (Try doing that in a floor-length mermaid skirt.) Fortunately, you're a modern woman who knows how to Grote Maten Trouwjurken pick and choose the very best elements to create her own style. Adding a long, flowing veil to a cocktail-length dress and you've got the best of both worlds - the sweetness of a traditional bride, without giving up your fun, modern spirit. Not to mention a touch of sexiness thrown in.

There are some beautiful gowns out this year featuring hemlines that are long and short at the same time: They are knee-length in front, then flow to trains in the back. It's a look that's intriguing without sacrificing prettiness - a nod and a wink to both ends of the fashion spectrum.

Finally, if your budget allows it, you can always get two dresses - floor-length for the ceremony and a short companion piece for the reception. There are many books on general communication, but marital communication is highly specialized.

When I spoke with a local public school principal, I asked her why they don't teach communica.

Why Marriage Problems can Bring you to Divorce Mediation

Divorce mediation almost sounds good, like a smooth transition from being married, to a new life without the Cocktailjurken 2013 drama of marriage problems. It sounds like a very humane and civilized way for a couple to take the sophisticated, gentle approach towards creatin.

Why would you want to Save your Marriage just to have Endless Marriage Trouble?

"We stay married just for the kids." I can't tell you how many times I heard that from really good people; couples who were willing to endure almost anything for the sake of their children. They only wanted to save their marriage so their children would.

How to Stop Divorce of your Second Marriage

It doesn't matter if it's your first marriage, second marriage, third or 15th, if you don't know how to be married, none of them will work. I can assure you that 99% of all people who filed for divorce said it was their spouse's fault, they were innocent.

Kate Middleton Wedding Gown on Display for Public at Buckingham Palace

The nuptials were months ago and the duke and duchess are already settling into married life, but there's no reason to forget Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day.

Beginning Saturday, Buckingham Palace will host an exhibit with Lange Cocktailjurken some of the most memorable ornaments from William and Kate's special day: the 3-foot-high wedding cake, the glittering Cartier tiara borrowed from the Cocktailjurken 2012 Queen and, of course, the gown that spurred a ripple of copycats and envious brides around the world.

"I think the thing that people will really see when they come here to view the dress is just how beautiful the detail is," said curator Caroline de Guitaut of the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen design.

The satin-gazar and lace wedding dress was handmade at the Royal School of Needlework by staff, tutors, graduates and students from around the world. As they applied yards-long lace appliqu茅 to the dress, they washed their hands every half hour to ensure it stayed immaculate.

One of the themes laced through each part of the exhibition is the duchess' desire for simplicity and tradition. "She didn't want to make a statement," said Shane Connolly, artistic director of flowers, of Kate's lily of the valley and hyacinth bouquet.

Simple, maybe. But boring? Not at all. bruidsmeisjes jurken The proof is in the pudding or, well, the cake. Each of its five layers is adorned with edible flowers: 17 variations, according to cake designer Fiona Cairns.

Although visitors might not get close enough to slip their feet into the bride's size 8 Alexander McQueen heels, it's still a treat for those who didn't get a coveted invite to the wedding.

Ireland has been building her brand since 1993, when she founded Kathy Ireland Worldwide.

Ireland was exposed to entrepreneurship and a good work ethic early in life. Her mother sold Avon cosmetics, cleaned houses, babysat and later went to school to study nursing. Her father worked for a retail clerks union and took the family to rallies with labor leader Cesar Chavez.

She went into modeling at 17 but said she never felt it was her calling. Ireland said she wonders if being a model made Trouwjurk Lange Mouw some people take her less seriously as an entrepreneur. Still, she's grateful for the experience.

''It exposed me to the best designers in the world, to people of all different cultures," said Ireland. ''But I felt like I was a business person already when I started.''

After much rejection, Kathy Ireland Worldwide's first product was socks, which were sold exclusively by Kmart. When Kmart fell on hard times and declared bankruptcy in 2002, it hurt her business.

She learned that it was not a good business move to have one product with one company.

''We expanded the brand to include a whole line of apparel and accessories, but we quickly learned that it was not good to have one channel of distribution,'' she said.

Hitting the big time

Today, Kathy Ireland Worldwide works with a variety of companies, such as Mon Cheri Bridals and flooring company Shaw Industries, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which is owned by Warren Buffett.

Ireland said part of her success is due to her team of 37 employees, many of whom have worked together for more than 20 years. She also does not believe in rushing into any business arrangement. The Mon Cheri Bridals partnership was seven years in the making, she said.

Joyce Lee, the co-owner of Potomac Bridals in Hagerstown, Md., is one of many bridal shops that carries the collection.

''With Kathy Ireland, they have very different, unique looks that kind of appeal to a variety of different brides,'' said Lee. in order to get a jump on work. ''It would be really difficult to give that up.''

Kate's wedding dress designer 'revealed'

Sound the Vintage Trouwjurk trumpets: Kate Middleton's wedding dress designer has been revealed!

According to Yvonne Yorke, Huffington Post's royal correspondent, designer Sophie Cranston of the Lib label Avondjurken has been busily working away at the gown for the past four months.

While the report has not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace, the designer's identity has reportedly been kept a secret in accordance with palace wishes, so she could, well, actually work, instead of fend off the paparazzi.

Kate's honeymoon wardrobe designed by Victoria Beckham

At a friend's wedding in Yorkshire this January, Kate stepped out in a Lib black velvet coat, which is being treated as a minor clue in the mystery surrounding what Kate will wear on D-Day (ie, wedding dress day, April 29).

There has been much speculation that the designer would be a relative unknown designer, while many in the fash press are still hoping it's going Vintage Trouwjurk to be Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.

So in case you're not familiar with Sophie's work, here are five things you need to know, right now:

According to her bio, Sophie "studied fashion design and honed her skills in the backrooms in Savile Row and Bellville Sassoon" and won the Designer of the Year Award at London's Graduate Fashion Week in 1999. The award has previously won by the likes of John Galliano, Christopher Bailey and Alexander McQueen.

She's one of the lucky Brit designers who actually worked for McQueen. She then founded Temperley with Alice Temperley in 2000 and started her own label two years later.

Her signature work? It's a mix of vintage-inspired designs, with flamenco-influenced dresses and lots and lots of colour (although, we're thinking a royal wedding is calling for a white dress!).

We wanted to approach her with the idea of our "Babe Thermometer," but we Vintage Trouwjurk quickly figured out that the idea would get shot down in a heartbeat when we suggested where the thermometer should be placed.

Kaze no Stigma <a href="http://www.yamlodress.nl/trouwjurken/trouwjurken-2012.html">Trouwjurk 2012</a> Complete Season 1 Part 2

Losing some of its energy and enthusiasm, the second half of the season draws to a close Avondjurken 2013 with more of Kazuma past revealed.

What They Say

The only person with a chance to melt Kazuma's chilly exterior is the same red-hot firebrand who incinerated his chances of a happy home life. Ayano is the smoldering redhead who issued a royal beat-down to her cousin and staked her claim to the Kannagi Clan's sacred sword.

This stubborn flame thrower is a prodigy when it comes to making things explode, but she fights with an enraged, reckless abandon that could get her burned. Put her in the same room as Kazuma, and there's bound to be fireworks. Trouble looms on the horizon, and a pairing of Wind and Fire is Tokyo's best bet to survive the night and see the light of day - provided it can take the heat.

The Review!

Audio:

FUNimation has given Kaze no Stigma a very good release when it comes to the audio as the series has a fair bit of action to it. The original Japanese language track is presented in its stereo format encoded at a meager 192kbps while the English language mix is in 5.1 at 448kbps. Both tracks are solid enough when it comes to the basics and what we get out of the Japanese track is essentially a solid forward soundstage mix that at times fairly center oriented. The English mix with its 5.1 bump up adds a bit more bass to the whole experience as well as generally raising the volume level a bit. I liked the English presentation overall as it does have more oomph and impact to it, but I drawn more to the way the Japanese presentation comes across simply because of my preference of the language itself and the flow of it. Both are good tracks however that are problem free.

Video:

Originally airing in 2007, Kaze no Stigma is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and is enhanced for anamorphic playback. The series is really strangely laid out as it a twenty four episode show and this set contains the second twelve episodes. While I expected a six/six two disc format, I got a seven/five two disc format instead. The extras on the second volume do take up a small bit of space, but nowhere near enough to require this kind of layout. The release looks really good overall as Gonzo has created a work with lots of vibrant colors that stand out well. In some ways, it doesn feel like a Gonzo series and some of that comes from the visual design of it. The transfer is similar to a lot of what FUNimation has been putting out in that there is some noise to be found in some of Trouwjurk Lange Mouw the darker scenes, but by and large the majority of people will be pleased by how it looks. Colors are generally solid, cross coloration is blissfully absent and line noise is very minimal when looking at the twelve episodes in total.

Packaging:

Kaze no Stigma really surprised me with the first volume in with its packaging as it avoided the traditional FUNimation half season model. Instead of the slipcover and the two thinpak cases, we get a single sized clear keepcase with two discs inside on one side. I prefer the other method as we get something that feels a bit weightier and it allows for more artwork and design options. This release has a good looking cover with the main duo of Ayano and Kazuma together looking serious as the flames rise around them, serious expressions and all. The background colors are a bit drab but it allows for the character artwork to really stand out and draw you in. The back cover uses the same kind of background but with a full length shot of Ayano in a rather good dress as she wields her fiery blade. The summary covers the main story elements quite well in the space allotted and there are a few very small pictures from the show just above it that don help it too much. The extras are clearly listed and the remainder is given over to standard production and technical information. There a lot of open space here which I think works well instead of feeling too empty. The release does provide for some reverse side artwork that really nice as it has the main trio done to a similar look as the front cover but spread out as they work together. Other than the choice of the keepcase over the thinpaks, I really like how this release looks.

Menu:

The menu design is done using the same elements as the front cover in a really nice way. The background is kept the same for both volumes and the little side tab is shifted to the bottom where the menu navigation selections are just above it. The cover art for the characters is split up though so that the first volume has just Ayano by herserlf, which looks quite imposing, and the second volume features Kazuma. They very simple menus similar to the way the cover is laid out and it very appealing as it gives it a serious feel. Submenus load quickly and the navigation is quick and easy. The discs don read our players language presets though which continues to disappoint me after all these years.

Extras:

The extras section has some cute pieces to it, though it does feel a bit like actresses gone wild except for the fact that it pales next to what I seen some US voice actresses do at conventions. The first extra is broken up into three parts where it essentially follows three of the Japanese voice actresses as they do an event prior to the DVD release and then two of them off exploring Kobe. Also included in the release on the second volume is the clean version of the opening sequence and the two closing sequences.

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)

The first season of Kaze no Stigma was really a surprise since I wasn expecting such a fun show from Gonzo. I had such mixed luck with a lot of their more recent shows and when I found out this was from them, it left me a bit uncertain. The first season introduced some fun ideas, a decent concept and a solid enough traditional execution that it all flowed together well. It wasn the best of this particular genre, but it had a nicely defined world and it progressed well as we got to understand the core characters and the familial relationships that play a decent sized role in all of this as well as all the magic. There was a rather good arc that reached a climax with that set which allowed for this half of the show to stake out new ground.

Unfortunately, it felt like a lot of the energy and enthusiasm that the first half of the season had falls a bit flat for a lot of this half. Not surprisingly, the first chunk of episodes for Kaze no Stigma in this set go for some simple standalone stories that revolve around secondary characters and establishing a bit of humor. There even the predictable hot spring episode that we get to as everyone ends up there for some fun. The only main twist really given to these early episodes is the introduction of Catherine McDonald, an up and coming fire magic user from America who has a powerful family name behind her as well. She clashes with Ayano right from the start and amusingly gets Kazuma on her side, though he doing it for a bit of a crafty reason that nobody else gets for a bit. Catherine brings a bit of chaos to the show since she boisterous and outgoing which in turn throws Ayano off her game in a few predictable ways.

Where a lot of this season goes is in two directions, both tied together. Mixed into some of the standalone stories is the growing problem of a number of magic based powered people showing up throughout the city causing problems. Some are plainly silly while others are your basic street toughs that are making their names known. What different with all of this is that they talking and acting as though they making progress in a video game, leveling up and gaining new powers as they changed classes and the like. It all real world, but the trappings of what they doing play this particular avenue out. Kazuma and Ayano get involved in all of it, Kazuma working with Tachibana over it, and they start to make some discoveries about a group called Pandemonium that organizing all of this for some mysterious purpose.

The aspect of Pandemonium really doesn feel like it belongs in this show since it a bit too gaming oriented and the characters even say as much and it felt like it reduced the seriousness of it. On the flip side, Pandemonium does have some elements to it that work out well towards the end. Those that are running it have connections to Kazuma from his time spent in Europe as they a powerful group from there. Kazuma past has certainly been touched upon at times in the first half of the season, mostly in direct relation to events when he left, but here we get to see what he did with his time in Europe and the people he spent it with. Namely, an attractive young woman named Tsui-Ling that won over his heart, though events didn play out in a way that worked for the two of them. The changes he went through while there, and the things that happened that caused him to come back, are all wrapped up in Pandemonium.

Not surprisingly, there things going on within Pandemonium that end up sending Kazuma over the edge when he discovers it since it relates heavily to his past. This is a predictable angle unfortunately and we end up with a good chunk of the last part of this arc where Kazuma is your generally unthinking bad guy out for revenge and he doesn care who gets in his way, including those closest to him. It doesn have a lot of real impact to it since he is kept off screen for more of it than I expected, but it also just too early and too quickly done for him to become this way, especially after all he done with his younger brother and with Ayano. This particular angle just felt forced in the storyline to give it more tension and to provide something more interesting than the terribly dressed villain himself who sits on a throne. That villain and Pandemonium plans are pretty unimportant as it plays out as the focus is much more on what going on with Kazuma and the manipulations made upon him. And unfortunately, Kazuma is forced to be out of character for a lot of it and that lessens the overall impact.

In Summary:

The first half of Kaze no Stigma was a lot of fun and it had me really interested in seeing this second half. Unfortunately, it feels like it lost a lot of its steam and then had a less than interesting top level plot for the storyline. People gaining powers and acting out like they in video games, leveling up and so forth? It didn work well and it even felt like the leads were talking down about it. There are things to like throughout this set simply because the characters are fun even when they bring in someone new like Catherine. But the small stories and the background material for Kazuma can sustain the whole thing. The Pandemonium story gets twisted around a few different ideas before it reaches for a big city-ending idea that lacks a real impetus on the part of Pandemonium. That said, I do like the show overall because I like the characters, but everything felt a bit weak here compared to the first set. It not bad, but it lost its way some.

Keep Your College Wardrobe Simple With Insignia Gear

When heading off to college, bringing the right necessities is paramount for any student. Whether referring to gaming systems, a good supply of favorite snacks, or the right clothing, it will Cocktailjurken 2013 not all fit in a dorm room or small apartment, so choices need to be made wisely. With clothing, comfort and ease of laundering should also be considered; therefore, college apparel makes a lot of sense. Offering much High Low Schoolfeest Jurken more than just a way to show school spirit, having some insignia gear around is the perfect answer to most wardrobe dilemmas while attending school as it is comfortable, convenient, stylish and that ever-popular low maintenance

Consider the college fleece hoodie. The design is generally unisex, goes everywhere, and does everything. The stylishness of this garment rests Sexy Cocktailjurken in the fact that it is not just a hoodie but rather a hoodie with the school name and logo on it. They are super versatile and with little details of screen printing or embroidery added, that same hoodie is now perfectly acceptable both in and out of class. It can indeed be classified in a category of apparel on its own.

Usually worn with jeans or sweats, a college hoodie can even be accentuated with slacks and dress shoes for being out and about, or dressed down with pajama bottoms and a pair of fuzzy slippers for just lounging or sleeping. The possibilities are endless and, with how comfortable they are, college students will usually explore all possibilities in the name of that comfort as well as the wash-and-wear attributes that make folding completely unnecessary.

For warmer weather or layering versatility, a t-shirt with the college name is right behind the hoodie in offering many of the same qualities. Comfort and convenience are still king with t-shirts, although it does lose a few points when it comes to being able to upgrade to a dressier style. In those instances, an insignia polo shirt is the better choice; although they require a little bit more in the way of care, it is still a minimal effort compared to other more dressy clothing. Kate Middleton Wears Kimono Style Jenny Packham Dress For Arrival On Asia Tour

You've got to hand it to the Duchess of Cambridge - she puts a lot of thought into dressing appropriately for every occasion. Take the pink kimono style dress she's wearing as she touches down at Singapore airport for the beginning of her tour around Asia and the South Pacific. Kate commissioned UK designer Jenny Packham to design the Asian-influenced dress, which also features an orchid pattern - to symbolise the fact that the Royal couple will be visiting the Singapore Botanical Gardens, to view an orchid designed for William's mother the Princess of Wales.

In fact, Kate's following in Diana's fashion footsteps by choosing such a symbolic bespoke creation. The Princess of Wales was well known for working with her favourite designers to create outfits for her foreign tours that represented the country she was visiting's style and heritage. So does this mean we can expect more Asian influenced outfits on her 11-day tour, which will see her travelling through from Malaysia to Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu? We're thinking flatforms and hula skirts?

Well if Kate's Fash Tour of Canada and LA - not to mention her first outfit of this tour - is anything to go by, we reckon whatever the design, she'll continue to champion British designers abroad. You'll remember those knee-length frocks, from the likes of Cocktailjurken 2013 Roksanda Ilincic, that she looked Lange Cocktailjurken so lady-like in - but Grazia Daily is itching to see the Duchess in a feminine print. The floral beauties above are from Erdem's Spring / Summer 2012 collection and are an elegant yet summery option for our K-Middy. But would she ditch her beloved nude heels for a pair of matchy-matchy courts? Here's hoping.

Stay tuned for all the Kate fashion action live as it happens from Asia. More 禄

Kate Middleton's Tiara

To put them on sale now would be impossible."

On her wedding day in 1981, Princess Diana dove into her own family vault and wore Cocktailjurken 2012 the Spencer family tiara.

, so perhaps she would consider wearing her tiara.

William's aunt, Sarah Ferguson, who is not invited to the April 29 wedding, famously wore a garland of flowers into Westminster Abbey on her wedding day. Her headwear symbolized a commoner's entering the ceremony.

After the vows, the flowers came off to reveal a new tiara commissioned Lange Cocktailjurken by Garrard Jewelers, highlighting a new Ferguson, Duchess of York.

Heirloom Might Be in Store for Middleton

Some experts suggest that the queen will give Middleton Korte Trouwjurk an heirloom tiara to wear on her big day.

"Given the multitude of Garrard tiaras that are in the royal family possession, it is likely there will be one that has carried on down the generations that she would wear," Eric Deardorff, CEO of official royal jewelers Garrard, told ABC News.

Kate's wedding dress a labour of lace

It's the dress seen round the world - the big unveil of the Sarah Burton-designed wedding gown of Kate Middleton, bride of Prince William, second in line for the throne, was one of the most anxiously anticipated fashion moments in years.

It didn't disappoint.

Chosen in January by the new Duchess of Cambridge for her royal wedding to William, now Duke of Cambridge, the design of the gown was a highly guarded secret until Friday. The Cocktailjurken 2012 handmade V-neck, long-sleeved gown from the fashion house of the late British designer Alexander McQueen is made of French Chantilly lace and English Cluny lace throughout the bodice, skirt and underskirt.

The skirt is made of ivory and white satin gazar, and was designed to resemble an opening flower: padded at the hips and flowing out to the floor.

The back of the dress was Cocktailjurken 2013 finished with 58 gazar- and organza-covered buttons fastened by loops.

Tall and lean, the 29-year-old Kate wore her dark hair in cascading curls, topped with an ivory silk tulle veil trimmed with hand-embroidered flowers.

It was held in place by a Cartier "halo" tiara, on loan from the Queen to her grandson's new bride. The tiara fulfilled the "something borrowed" wedding tradition. It was first purchased by the Duke of York, later King George VI, for his duchess, who split voor Prom Dresses later became the Queen Mother Elizabeth. It was given to the current queen by her mother on the Queen's 18th birthday.

Dangling from Kate's ears were the "something new" - diamond drop earrings in the shape of stylized oak leaves with a pear-shaped diamond drop and diamond acorn suspended in the centre - by Robinson Pelham, a gift from her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, who run a business selling party accessories.

Kate wedding dress recreated in just five hours

The Alexander McQueen gown worn by the new Duchess of Cambridge was one of the highlights of the royal wedding and copies are expected to be made across the world.

But the bride may have been surprised Cocktailjurken 2012 at how fast the work began.

"As soon as she was in the car, we started to identify what the lace was like and try to find as close a copy as possible," said Raul Echeverria, owner of Alterations Boutique in Marylebone.

When she stepped out of the Rolls-Royce in front of the abbey a Korte Trouwjurk few minutes later, revealing the full Alexander McQueen gown of ivory satin and lace, the team went into overdrive.

"We looked at the pictures on the television screen and once we identified what fabric we required, then we went to Cocktailjurken 2013 our suppliers and tried to match the fabrics," Ms Echeverria said.

They ordered ten metres of lining, ten metres of tulle for the veil, ten metres of netting, 15 metres of satin and four metres of lace, at a cost approaching ($1700).

"At the same time our designers were creating a pattern for the dress, and we put it all together. It took us about five hours to complete the project," said the 34-year-old.

The dress was commissioned by The Times newspaper, and will be offered to a reader in a competition. But the boutique, which Echeverria's mother Maria Blazquez founded 30 years ago, has already been asked to make more.

"We have had enquiries already regarding the dress," the owner said, but insisted: "It wasn't about making money, it was about the skills and proving that anything can be done.

The 'halo' tiara was purchased by The Duke of York (later King George VI) for his Duchess (later Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother) three weeks before he succeeded his brother as King. The tiara was presented to Princess Elizabeth (now The Queen) by her mother on the occasion of her 18th birthday.

The tiara held in place a short veil, which Middleton wore covering her face.

Badgley called them the "perfect touch."

"We love that she wore her hair down," he said. Cocktailjurken 2012 "We love a glamorous bride."

Fashion lovers around the globe have been waiting for months for a glimpse of the year's most anticipated outfit, which has been shrouded in mystery and the subject of speculation almost since the day Middleton and Prince William announced their engagement.

Gunn called the dress "ravishing."

"She is not disappointing," Gunn said. The dress in my view is beyond anyone's imagination. Kate could not Cocktailjurken Lange Cocktailjurken 2013 look more princessly or queenly."

In the hours leading up to the wedding, clues pointed to Burton. "I am delighted that the dress represents the best of British craftsmanship. Catherine looked absolutely stunning today, and the team at Alexander McQueen are very proud of what we have created."

Last month, the Telegraph reported that Middleton chose Burton "for the discretion afforded by her relatively low profile, as well as for her alternative take on elegance." Burton's work is said to have "caught Middleton's eye" when she designed an off-the-shoulder wedding dress for Sara Buys, a fashion journalist who in 2005 married Tom Parker Bowles, Camilla's son. Buys is reportedly friendly with Middleton.

Considered one of Britain's edgiest labels, a McQueen dress would be in line with Kate's interest in fashion. Signature McQueen looks included billowy dresses cut in hourglass silhouettes, frock coats paired with skinny pants, sharp, angular suiting, and darkly romantic gowns covered in intricate embroidery and lace.

Kate Middleton wedding dress a mystery

Citing fashion industry sources, British newspaper The Sunday Times reported Middleton would be wearing a dress designed by Sarah Burton, creative director of one of Britain's edgiest labels, Alexander McQueen, when she marries Prince William on April Sexy Cocktailjurken 29.

Jonathan Akeroyd, chief executive of Alexander McQueen, reportedly told a colleague that the company had got the commission.

But when contacted by the newspaper he denied that Burton, or the label, was involved in designing the royal wedding dress. "No, not at all," he said. "I am the CEO. I would know if we Korte Trouwjurk were doing it."

Burton, when asked directly to comment on the royal commission, responded, "I am not doing it."

The designers of previous royal wedding dresses were bound to secrecy by Buckingham Palace.

But according to another British newspaper, activity outside Bruce Oldfield's boutique - Princess Diana's favourite designer - suggested he could be the one given the royal seal of approval.

According to the Sunday Express, the bride-to-be's younger sister and maid of honour Pippa, her mother Carole and the Countess of Wessex were all seen leaving the store recently.

Oldfield said last month he could not confirm rumours that he was designing the highly anticipated dress, but said the public would "definitely" see the bride in two dresses and predicted she would wear a veil.

Middleton, 29, was reportedly attempting to keep both her wedding dress and the identity of its creator secret until the day of the royal wedding.

Whatever she wears was likely set to off a frenzy of copycat designs.

Within hours bruidsmeisjes jurken of appearing on TV following the announcement of the couple's engagement in November 2010, the Issa dress Middleton wore had sold out in boutiques across the world and a $25 version created a few days later sold out within an hour of becoming available online.

Her engagement ring, which belonged to Diana, was swiftly copied by Kenneth Jay Lane and has sold more than 30,000 units so far via QVC since it debuted on November 20.

Keeping the Flame Alive on Your Wedding Anniversary

On this day, you stop and reflect the state of Cocktailjurken 2013 the union between husband and wife. Then it hits you so hard that you have actually spent High Low Schoolfeest Jurken so little time on your dear spouse. Why? We have got to concentrate mind and soul on our careers and slog hard from morning to night at the office. By the end of the day, both partners are tired and too exhausted to talk to

each other. Then your focus of attention will be on your kids. You have to take care of them play with them ,feed them, monitor them and supervise them . You have to check whether they have eaten , bathed and done their Korte Cocktailjurken homework.

On this special day, take time to reflect what both of you wanted to do together but never got down to doing it either due to work or family commitments. Find out what he or she likes . If she is fond of good food then bring her out for a good scrumptious meal at a expensive restaurant . If she likes shopping then bring her out to her favorite shopping mall and help to buy dresses and whatever she likes (something like Richard Gere bringing Julia Roberts out in ' Pretty Woman' and decking out her in designer fashion wear) She may like you to serenade to her with a beautiful song or poem. Lastly, a bouquet of flowers work wonders too.

Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress

Minutes after the world got its first glimpse of Kate's gown, designers were making detailed sketches. Michelle and Henry Roth are designers who sell exclusively for Kleinfeld Bridal Salon, the largest Sexy Cocktailjurken wedding boutique in the country, located in New York City. At Kleinfeld, they see more than 15,000 women per year all looking for that special dress.

Now, Kleinfeld and the Roths are working on what will surely be one of their hottest gowns ever: an inspired replica of the amazing Kate Middletown wore as she walked down the aisle.

For designers like the Roths, third generation wedding gow makers, Kate's dress is a serious game-changer, and the Roths are determined to have the perfect couture gown, inspired by Middleton's, available immediately.

From the very first moment on Friday that Prince William's bride stepped out in her dress -- designed by Sarah Burton for fashion house Alexander McQueen -- the Roths have been working on every detail of their "Kate Dress" that they plan to sell as part of their collection.

Michelle Roth sketches a replica of Middleton's dress.

Like detectives, the Roths examined every detail of Kate's dress -- from the neckline to the sleeves to the pleats in Korte Trouwjurk the skirt. Nothing was overlooked.

With sketch im hand, they then bruidsmeisjes jurken rushed to Lace Star in New York's Garment District to find the perfect fabric.

Back in their studio, they began draping and pinning the garment.

Out in the store, women were already waiting breathlessly for a chance to try on "The Kate," while seamstresses worked around the clock, carefully hand-sewing and applying every piece of lace.

Keeping Clutter Free

I was once Cocktailjurken 2013 responsible Avondjurken 2013 for tidying up my grandmother's house after she passed away. The responsibility fell on me because no other family members were game enough to take it on, because my grandmother was an incurable hoarder and clutterer. After this experience, I vowed that this would never, ever happen to me and that I would not even let my house get as cluttered as hers. Well, that was my intention anyway. But accumulating clutter seems to be a human weakness (or at least a family weakness) and I still seem to be waging the clutter wars. And if you are reading this, so are you.

The first step in reducing clutter in your life is to look at your spending habits. Much of the stuff that clutters up our houses is stuff we have purchased but don't really need to. This Trouwjurk Lange Mouw was a particular downfall of both my grandparents - they both shopped as a hobby. Not that they spent large amounts (my grandfather frequents second-hand bookshops; my grandmother was known by sight at all the second-hand clothes stores in town). But before you buy anything, train yourself to think whether you really need it or want it (The pre-Raphaelite designer William Morris advised that you should own nothing that "you know to be useful or believe to be beautiful). Could you borrow or hire whatever it is? Could you make do with what you already have? Change your habits - retail therapy is bad for your budget and creates clutter.

The next step is to purge out what you don't need. Don't try to tackle the whole house at once. Set yourself small target to reach. What about starting with the bathroom cabinet? What about sorting out a drawer in the kitchen? Start on the smaller places and get some satisfaction from doing this before moving on to the big ones like garages.

To de-clutter a target area, begin by pulling everything out and dumping it somewhere you can sort it - on the bench, on the bed, on the kitchen table. Out of the resulting chaos, begin by finding the things that you know you use often - you've used it within the last six months (for more season-related things such as Christmas decorations, skis or swimming pool accessories, this use-within period should be extended to a year). Next, get rid of anything broken or out-of-date. If the item is fixable or if it is something that can be used even if it is out of date (clothes or tools), then put this somewhere to give away to charity or a resource recovery centre.

At this point, you may also discover duplicates. For example, you may buy something, believing that you don't have something when, in fact, you do and the one you own is buried at the back of the cupboard. Or you may find it easier to go down to the shops and buy a new one rather than go to the effort of hunting for the old one. Put the duplicates in the giveaway pile.

Obviously, you need to throw away rubbish. It's astonishing how often absolute junk gets stored or kept. I'm always astonishing myself and thinking "What on earth did I keep that for? It's useless!".

The biggest trap to beware of when decluttering (and the source of much clutter) is the "it might come in handy" syndrome. The golden rule here is to think what the object, whatever it is, will come in handy for. For example "I'll keep this old sheet to make polishing rags/bedding for the dog/teaching the children how to sew". If you can't think of anything, get rid of it. If you really think it's useful, take it to a charity or a recycling depot. Also watch the amount of useful stuff you keep. Yes, old ice-cream containers are good for frozen food, but how many do you need to keep? Do you really need fifty?

Have decluttering episodes regularly - this is something that always needs to be done, as humans seem to be inveterate hunter-gatherers who store stuff "just in case".

Kathleen Jensen blog

Filed under Uncategorized | 1 Comment

So, we just finished watching Pixar's Ratatouille last weekend, and in reflection about blogging, I'm reminded Cocktailjurken 2013 of the famous chef's split voor Prom Dresses philosophy, "Anyone can cook." Similarly and snidely in a blog,, "Anyone can have an audience." This can be wonderful, and it can be weird. When I was a girl growing up in Chicago, my dad's office at one point was right next to Bughouse Square, across from the Newberry Library, where, before it was gentrified and cleaned up, the park was home to any manner of speaker. The speakers would stand up in various parts of the park and create as much noise and as wide a circle of audience as possible. I remember being particularly interested in a man who was dressed in a cocktail dress with a flamboyant feather boa and admirers trailing behind. Anyway, blogs remind me of Bughouse Square.

What I do like about reading blogs is the hyper text. I find myself clicking here and there and reading more and more in a dizzying fashion about a wide variety of things. (By the way, I couldn't get the video to work on how to link in a blog, so I gave up trying to do that in tonight's blog.) I do think that the hypertext in blogs does make it different than reading black and white text. The reading becomes Trouwjurken less focused and linear, in a way, but also rather tantalizingly like peeling an onion and finding more layers and layers of things to read.

I'm not certain about the uses of blogs in learning, or the business of meaning making. The only thing I know for sure is that blogs have given anyone, anywhere, the possibility of an audience, for better or for worse.

I like sharing what I love with others. It didn't take me long as new teacher to know that you really must know a subject to teach it well. That's one reason why I signed up to teach igoogle and google calendar this summer. I know I'll have to know both those tools well, and I want to!

3. Create your own learning toolbox

This is the most important to me as I look around and see that the shift has happened. I think the course will introduce me to some tools I'll like and some that I won't. Either way, I'll have a few more tricks up my sleeve.

Kate Moss Vogue Shoot for September Issue Kept Top Secret

NEW YORK -- Vogue's hugely-anticipated September issue will feature Kate Moss on its cover and in a gorgeous fashion spread inside -- and not just in the wedding dress that John Galliano designed Cocktailjurken 2012 for her, the New York Post reported Monday, citing sources.

Instead, the story -- under Secret Service-like protection at Vogue's New York offices -- features Moss dressed in gowns by a handful of designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang and Valentino, sources said.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour asked top designers to create the looks they would most like to see Moss wear during her nuptials, sources said. The waifish model was then photographed in the various looks by Mario Testino for the issue.

The shoot was akin to scenes in the Lange Avondjurken "Sex and the City" movie in which Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, has a photo shoot for Vogue -- wearing wedding dresses by Christian Lacroix, Lanvin, Dior and Vivienne Westwood.

"Kate is on the cover, but the wedding is the minor part of the story. Anna told about 10 designers to pick out their ideal dresses for Kate," a source said.

As with any of Vogue's September issues, details of Moss' shoot were kept tightly under wraps. "If anything got out about the split voor Prom Dresses cover, Anna would flip," one source quipped.

A rep for Vogue said, "We don't comment on rumors about future issues."

Last week, the Post reported that Vogue booked almost 584 pages of advertising for the issue, eclipsing its 2010 result and comfortably beating its competitors' 2011 totals.

Kate Walsh Gaga

Kate Walsh publicly apologized to Little Monsters everywhere for her innocent crack at Lady Gaga by Vloer Lengte Avondjurken wearing a tribute dress of sorts for an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The Grey's Sexy Cocktailjurken Anatomy alum wore a sushi and sashimi dress, complete with accessories. obviously piggybacking on Gaga's meat dress at the VMAs. While less artful than Gaga's now-infamous look, Walsh's frock included lobster-tail straps, maki rolls, yellowtail, tuna, salmon, and edamame. However, she did take care only to showcase sustainable fish, mentioning, "There's no bluefin on here. You want to stay away from that." Not to be forgotten were her maki-roll shuttershades and ring (which we bet Snooki would kill for), and peep-toe Louis Vuitton heels with a prawn strap across the toes. Admittedly, the dress Lange Cocktailjurken sort of looked like a school project gone bad and reminded us of Lea Michele's character on Glee attempting to imitate Gaga's Kermit dress by fashioning a gown of Beanie Babies. But points for effort and follow-through, Kate!

The dress was worn in homage to make up for a snarky tweet about Lady Gaga's VMA dress looking like "a nice plate of prosciutto with melon." Walsh simply thought she was being clever, "But oh no, no, no, no!" she said. "It set off the Little Monsters. It opened up a whole can of whoop-ass." She used the Tonight Show opportunity to show the singer some love and says she's a "huge fan." No hard feelings remain between the two, but Little Monsters have been known to hold a grudge.

Kate Middleton wears another Jenny Packham dress on tour in Singapore

It's strike two for Jenny Packham on the Duchess of Cambridge's Asian tour! This morning, Kate visited a war memorial in Singapore wearing a bespoke duck-egg blue shirt-dress. It's a sign that, along with McQueen's Sarah Burton, Packham is fast becoming one of Kate's most favoured designers. She wore an oriental print kimono dress by the Brit designer for her first appearance on this tour and she's regularly seen at official functions and relaxed polo games wearing her designs here in the UK.

So let's analyse Lange Cocktailjurken this outfit. The colour is taken from the hue seen at Jenny Packham's 2011 Spring collection but the outfit is customized to be classic Kate. A pleated skirt falling just to the knee, nipped in at the waist and with buttons and lace detailing down the front, it's a similar shape Cocktailjurken 2012 to that yellow Jenny Packham dress that won Kate plaudits on her tour of the Canada and the USA last year.

And just when you thought Kate had stepped away from her oh-so appropriate dressing - wearing a dress with an orchid pattern to visit an orchid filled Botanic garden, say - she added a touch of the Orient to her very British dress by carrying a matching duck-egg parasol to tour the War Memorial. Well, that famous hair does need some protection from the midday heat!

It's only day three of the royal couple's tour of Asia but it's already proving a fashion feast. The Duchess of Cambridge has already worn a Jenny Packham kimono-style dress, an orchid print frock by Prabal Gurung, Cocktailjurken 2013 a white skirt suit by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and snazzily-printed silk separates by RAOUL and now this Jenny Packham number. Phew, are you keeping up? Stay tuned for today's updates from Asia as they happen鈥?and in the meantime, check out Grazia's Kate Middleton Look Book

Kensington Palace to reopen after

"And for them to realize that these remarkable buildings - part of the DNA of the city - are for them.''

Tucked into Kensington Gardens, a public park in central London, Kensington Palace is a warm red-brick contrast to gray Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II's London home.

It was home to six British monarchs, including Victoria, who spent her childhood here, and now contains several royal "apartments'' - actually Georgian houses, one of which William and Kate will move into next year.

It also has dozens of rooms that are open to the public. The public side of the palace reopens Monday, in time for a busy tourist season that includes the queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June and Sexy Cocktailjurken the summer Olympics.

Project manager Jo Thwaites, who oversaw the renovation, said the changes involved Vloer Lengte Avondjurken "peeling back the layers of Kensington Palace in order to reveal much more for visitors to enjoy.''

Formerly shielded by hedges and fences that made its public entrance hard to find, the palace is now much more welcoming.

The entrance from the park lies beside a lovely ornamental garden surrounded by manicured lawns on which visitors are encouraged to dawdle. It comes as a surprise to find the signs posted there do not say ``keep off the grass,'' but merely warn people to take care on steep slopes.

Many visitors will head straight for a ground-floor display of dresses belonging to the palace's most famous recent occupant, Princess Diana. She lived here for 16 years after her marriage to Prince Charles in 1981. After her death in a Paris car crash in 1997, thousands of mourners came to leave flowers outside the palace gates.

Display cases hold garments including a black silk taffeta gown by Emanuel, a Versace cocktail dress and a fuchsia Catherine Walker gown, alongside sketches of the garments and photographs - all revealing, according to curator Deirdre Murphy, "Diana's evolving style and the important role fashion played in creating her public image.''

Upstairs is an exhibition devoted to Victoria, the only British monarch before the current queen to reach 60 years on the throne.

It includes the room where she was born and the room where in 1837 she was informed, at age 18, that her uncle William IV had died and she was queen.

Personal items range from her first pair of baby shoes to a pair of the royal stockings - along with Victoria's delighted description of how her husband, Prince Albert, helped her put them on.

Their marriage is traced from romantic start to tragic finish, with displays including Victoria's ivory silk wedding gown and the black dress she wore in mourning after Albert's death in 1861.

Further on are the grand state apartments originally inhabited by King William III and Queen Mary II, husband-and-wife monarchs who sat on the throne from 1689. It was they, Marschner said, who hired architect Christopher Wren to transform "a modest-ish 17th-century house into a baby palace.''

The rooms are grand, with Old Masters and gilded statues aplenty - but they also tell a moving human story.

With no children of their own, William and Mary pinned the succession hopes of their Stuart dynasty on Prince William, son of Mary's sister Anne.

The only child of Anne's 18 pregnancies to survive infancy, he was a lively but delicate boy who died after falling ill while dancing at his 11th birthday party.

His death sparked both family mourning and a constitutional crisis. With no obvious successor, Parliament weighed the claims of 43 possible heirs before settling on a Trouwjurken 2013 German cousin, Sophia of Hanover. She died before she could take the throne and her son became Britain's King George I.

Kate TMs gown rings a bell

You can tell by the pictures that only the bodice of the dresses are somewhat similar. As for someone saying she should/could sue the designer of Catherine's dress is completely wrong. There are more than enough differences that make them completely different albeit similar dresses. In order to copy but not infringe an item needs to be approximately 20% different.

And just by looking at the photo you can tell that the waistlines are different, the older one has a drop waist Catherine's is at the waist, then there's the bow, the length of the train, and it appears that Cocktailjurken 2012 the older dress was completely covered in lace which Catherine's is not. Similar bodices yes, but that's all.

Wow, it really DOES look alike! Very cool. As for her daughter, considering how many thousands of dollars women will pay to wear a look-alike Kate Middleton wedding dress on their special day, she should consider herself lucky to have a classic, vintage version of it -- for free. It's the historical significance of the dress being passed down for a generation that Cocktailjurken 2013 should matter, not whether people might think she tried copying Kate's dress, and those close to her that would be at the wedding would know the difference, and the story behind the dress. Very stupid reason to choose not to wear mom's wedding dress in the future, just because Kate wore a similar style.

PS: She probably copied the design of the dress off of Grace Kelly's original design, so who is the TRUE copycat? :)

Uh, it DOES look like Kate's. It is not exact, but it has the same general Korte Trouwjurk design and anyone out there at first glance would make the connection. You are just nit picking.

The thing is, Kate decided to wear a very basic, run-of-the-mill, common simple dress. It has extravagant lace, a longer than average train, and is very well made, but it is still very very ordinary. There are many dresses out there that looked like her's before her's was made, and this style has remained a timeless option for years and years.

So, there are hundreds of women out there thinking Kate wore their dress or their grandmother or great grandmother's dress. And they are all right. The design is common.

Kate Middleton

Why is She famous

Kate Middleton has a keen interest in fashion, a distinguished education in art history and has enjoyed steady employment in her family business. No matter what fashion heights she might climb or paintings she may create or success she enjoys through her family's company, she will always be substantially more famous as the companion to the guy who's been at her side for most of the last eight years -- her husband, Prince William, whom she married on April 29, 2011. Kate Middleton is giving hope to young British women everywhere that any ordinary girl -- err, any ordinary girl from a family of millionaires -- can marry into British royalty too. Not since the late Princess Diana has an object of female royalty caused such a stir -- and for Middleton, her stir and stay in pop culture has really only just begun.

As the ultimate woman of desire for Prince William, Kate Middleton has been tantalizing her Prince since she modeled in front of his eyes in revealing clothing during a 2002 charity event. Though there isn't anything that makes her stand out particularly when comparing her to other British babes, she does possess a strong sense of style, which has suited her well at the many public events she's attended over the years. Besides her athletic background and university education, Middleton is smart, sweet and by all indications, supportive. In a family that's been often hit with scandals, she Lange Cocktailjurken might end up as the Royal voice of reason and a strong, steady influence on her man. As someone who has been in his life for nearly a decade, she was already influential in helping him choose his university concentration (geography) and has been a constant presence at his many celebrations. While it would be easy for many women to care more about living the Royal fairy tale than loving the Prince himself, she seems to truly care.

There isn't a young woman in England who hasn't yearned for the chance to be part of the Royal Korte Cocktailjurken family -- or to marry Prince William for that matter. For this achievement alone, Kate Middleton has already enjoyed an enviable amount of success. After all, Cocktailjurken 2012 who else but Prince William could take her deer hunting one day and introduce her to Mario Testino the next? While her previous endeavors have had her working for Jigsaw in accessories purchasing and for her family's company as a photographer, it's unlikely that Kate Middleton will ever "work" again at a real job. Instead, she'll have Royal power on her side and the ability to influence entire generations of women. For a woman whose idea of pop culture influence was the prospect of creating a clothing line for kids, being Princess Kate is definitely an upgrade.

With the promise of fame and fortune as a Royal comes a certain loss of privacy for Middleton, who is known in British circles as "Her Shyness." The adjustment from "regular girl" to "Royal girlfriend" and then wife has been challenging at times, as she's been forced to cancel her participation at sporting events -- like a 2007 charity boat race -- and have her own security detail due to concerns over paparazzi. That being said, her long relationship with Prince William of nearly nine years has surely helped to acclimatize her somewhat to the occasional paparazzi-induced perils of being a royal.

As the oldest child of three, Kate Middleton grew up -- at least initially -- in a family of frequent fliers. Her parents -- a flight attendant mother and a flight dispatcher father -- began their courtship after meeting through British Airways, but by the time that Middleton was five, her parents had started a new specialty supply business called Party Pieces. In due time, Party Pieces became a million-dollar enterprise. This allowed Kate Middleton to live a particularly fulfilling childhood, in which she explored sporty hobbies like skiing, running and field hockey, got a taste of school acting by playing Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and became a Girl Guide. Because of her comfortable lifestyle, much of Middleton's formative education came at the pricey Marlborough College, where she was serious-minded, well-behaved, but also -- as fate would have it -- dreamy about a boy named Prince William. Though they hadn't met at this point, Middleton famously commented to a classmate once about how nice she felt he was.

After completing her schooling at Marlborough College, Kate Middleton moved to Scotland in 2001 to attend the University of St. Andrews. She chose art history as her primary concentration and through that she became acquainted with Prince William, who was a new student just like she was. In addition to that, they lived in the same school residence and as a result of their common interests and dwellings, they became fast friends. Rumors that they were a couple circulated -- first when the Prince attended a 2002 charity event where Middleton was modeling, and later when they were living together with two other students the following year -- but it wasn't until after a 2004 skiing getaway that they admitted being together.

Naturally, the idea of a new Royal couple -- especially involving the son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana -- created a media firestorm that began to grow. In the wake of their 2005 graduation from St. Andrews, there was intense speculation of an upcoming engagement -- so much so that pictures of Prince William and Kate Middleton were placed on celebratory cups and plates. The engagement rumors were false, but Middleton did get the luxury of her own security detail through the esteemed Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department in 2006 and made a splash as a Royal guest to celebrate her beau's completion of his basic military training at Sandhurst. She also found time to work in the fashion industry as a buyer of accessories for Jigsaw.

kate middleton and prince william become engaged

Just when it seemed like they could do no wrong to each other, Kate Middleton and Prince William separated in the spring of 2007. The popular rumor was that a difference in commitment split them apart, but only a few months later they reunited as one after Middleton attended the "Concert for Diana" celebration for Prince William and Prince Harry's late mother. From there, Middleton was spotted hunting deer with Prince William, mingling at weddings with him, and supporting him anew during his RAF wings award ceremony and Order of the Garter presentation.

In 2010, Kate Middleton was working as a photographer for her parents' company when she quit and traveled with Prince William to Kenya. There, they finally sealed the deal on an engagement that everyone in their homeland was eager for. Offering the same engagement ring that his mother had worn during her own engagement, Prince William popped the question and, not surprisingly, Middleton accepted.

kate middleton and prince william marry

Kate Middleton went through one final rehearsal 24 hours before the wedding, as thousands of onlookers were already setting up tents outside the Abbey to prepare for the big event.

Middleton and Prince William married on April 29, 2011. Over a billion people watched Middleton step out of the queen's 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI in front of London's Westminster Abbey. One of the most secretive pieces of information about the entire ordeal was Middleton's dress, which was finally revealed to have been designed by Sarah Burton, the 36-year-old creative director of luxury British label Alexander McQueen.

The bride is set to overtake Britain's Princess Diana as the most talked-about woman in the world's media, according to a study released by the Global Language Monitor. And that doesn't surprise us, given the media buzzfest that surrounded the royal wedding, as well as the couple's first royal tour of Canada, which took place in July of 2011.
